Description
The CARREZ has a lovely, organic appearance. The streamlined version of the VALENCIA is this wooden planter. It appears very lovely in Mediterranean gardens.
Characteristics
Gardens seem substantial and inviting with the CARREZ hardwood planter. Made of tropical hardwood, this planter. All of our hardwood is durability class 2 rated and has a 25-year lifespan. A planter made of oak perfectly complements the luxuriant vegetation of the garden area.
The high durability class of the wood means that this hardwood planter doesn't require any further care. With time, the planter will become grey. The planter's quality is unaffected by this colour change. The base of the planter is lined with an anti-root membrane, and it is built entirely with premium stainless-steel fasteners.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- 5-year guarantee.
- Hardwood planters are strong and hard-wearing.
- We use only hardwood with durability class 2 in our hardwood planters.
- The hardwood has a thickness of at least 21 mm.
- The planter can be customised.
Key points of interest:
- As soon as products arrive, they should be opened up to let out any retained moisture. Excessive dampness may result in stains that are challenging to get rid of.
- When exposed to the sun, rain, and wind, all hardwoods turn grey. The hardwood's initial colour has some bearing on the final shade.
- Natural materials like wood can contract or expand in response to changes in temperature and moisture content. Frequent lubrication stabilises moisture levels and reduces shrinkage and swelling. We advise utilising Woca oil.
- Screws made of stainless steel are used. Hardwood responds when it comes in contact with iron, much like practically all other types of wood. Significant discoloration that resembles mould can result from this.
- Before using, clean drill bits and other instruments of metal shavings.
- Avoid touching cement and lawn fertiliser. There is some iron in these.
- Once filled, the planter cannot be moved.
PLANTING ADVICE:
- Add around 10 cm of hydro pellets to the planter's bottom.
- After covering the drainage material with a permeable anti-root membrane.
- Put soil that is appropriate for your chosen plants on top of the barrier.
